  • I attended a Junior Pasifika Career Pathways meeting on 28th May, 2015. Attached is a reflection which shows that the meeting helped me to reflect on the importance of being in touch with the learner's whanau. It gives teachers opportunity to workout learning plans for the learners.

  • I have identified Moari students in my classes. The lists attached show Maori students in my 09 NAL, 10 NAL and LIFT classes for Term 2, 2015.

  • This is a reflection on Tataiako PD that I attended on Providing culturally responsive feedback to parents and students.

  • It is important to recognise Maori culture and ways of bringing it into the classroom. This Tataiako PD was about how to recognise Maori culture and some useful tools that can help to bring Maori culture into the classroom.

  • There are a lot of factors that needs to be considered while incorporating culturally resposnive environment in the classrooms. This PD that I attended during the uLearn conference helped me to develop a better understanding about creating a culturally responsive environment for Maori and Pasifika students.
